Who we are

This website is operated by Crime Time Inc. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can contact us at hello@crimetimeinc.com.

What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to contact us via our contact form. In that case, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

We do not collect any personal data from visitors who simply browse the website.

How we use your data

We use your name and email address solely to respond to your enquiry. We will not use your contact details for any other purpose, and we will not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Legal basis for processing

Our legal basis for processing your personal data is legitimate interests — specifically, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to us directly by members of the public.

Data processors

To send email responses, we use Resend (resend.com), a third-party email delivery service. When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to Resend for the purpose of delivering the email notification to us. Resend processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

For website analytics, we use Umami (umami.is), a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. Umami does not collect personal data and does not track you across websites. Only anonymised, aggregated data is recorded.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are permanently deleted. If you would like your data removed sooner, please contact us and we will action your request promptly.

Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not disclosed to anyone outside of Crime Time Inc, except to the data processors listed above where necessary to deliver that service.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request that we correct inaccurate data
  • Request that we erase your personal data
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at hello@crimetimeinc.com.

Right to complain

If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
