However, despite their enthusiasm and determination, the tournament did not culminate in victory for Pollok United. The team faced challenges beyond their control, with four players forced to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. As a result, the squad found themselves depleted, with only one substitute available to endure the grueling two-day competition in the scorching Portuguese heat.

While the outcome may not have been what they had hoped for, the spirit and camaraderie displayed by Pollok United throughout the tournament were truly commendable.
